Grazia Materia was born in Milan.
After completing her classical studies, she enrolled in the faculty of Economics and Commerce “Bocconi”.
She started to work in the internal fashion press office inside BVM in Bologna, at that time the manufacturer of brands like Les Copains and Gianni Versace, flanking Grazia Gay.
Subsequently she started her first collaborations as a freelance stylist for the magazine Italian Line, continuing to offer her cooperation to the major Italian and foreign fashion magazines (Amica, Grazia, Elle, Vanity Fair, Woman, World Man, man Vogue, GQ, Vogue, Vogue jewelry) and important photographers.
At the same time she follows, again as a stylist, print campaigns, advertising and commercials with leading international advertising agencies (McCann Erickson, Saatchi and Saatchi, Pirella Low, JW Thompson).
She dresses many spots of Italian directors (F. Brugia, G. Capotondi, C. Vanzinas, P. Genovese, L. Miniero, L. Lucini, G. Notari, C. Sigon) and foreign (Grosset, T. Scott, M. Haussman, A. Attanasio) winning in 2009 the London BBF AWARD as custom designer with a spot of Fredrik Bond
Costume Designer of many successful Italian Films, she lives and works in Rome.
